All Moved In

Whew, I'm glad that's over! DH and I are finally moved into our new apartment. It is pretty cute, with cathedral ceilings and a fireplace. It has character. The kitchen and bathrooms are upgraded, which is a nice change from our former residence. What wasn't cute was moving up 3 flights of stairs. Yikes! I felt so bad for DH and the movers but we paid them well for their troubles. MENTAL NOTE: Our next home MUST have an elevator if it isn't ground level. Now comes the fun part of unpacking. I've done a little but there's still a long way to go before we could even contemplate having guests over. My goal is to have it completely done in 2 weeks so we can have people over for Labor Day.

Tomorrow, we get our HD digital cable and hi-speed Internet service so I'm excited about finally getting back to my normal routine. It has been hard without television or Internet since Friday. How did people manage before technology? I tell you what - my house would be spotless if I had no TV or Internet because all I've managed to do in the past few days is develop OCD with regards to the cleanliness of the floors, walls and anything else in the apartment. Nevermind that it is freshly painted and carpeted and spic and span. I will find a way to make sure it stays that way.

My appointment on Saturday went well. The RE confirmed I ovulated (estimated to be on Friday) so my next step is to go in for my 7dpo progesterone b/w this Friday and wait to test. FF gave me a test date of next Saturday, the 19th. However, Mother's Day is coming up this Sunday and I would love to test then. I know it is early at only 9dpo but I have 2 digitals so why not POAS? If it's negative, I can just wait until my test date. I got a "High" BD rating (what, with 7 days of straight intercourse it should read "how can you miss?!" ) so I have high hopes for that elusive BFP.

I love my DH. I know that is an obvious fact but this weekend, he really did something to make me smile. He said he had a surprise for me for Mother's Day. I asked him why he was planning something if I'm not a mother. He replied, "well, you want to be one, though." How cute is he?
