The Main Event

I'm a professional shopper, so Black Friday is the main event I've been training for for months now. Its like the Olympics for retail addicts.

I was totally prepared to wake up at some ungodly hour and hit the early bird sales with SIL and DH. I stayed up last night until 330am, believing that if I went to sleep, I'd never wake up so soon so it was best I just stayed awake.

I was the only one left standing. Everyone else wimped out and slept in, so I was left alone to go to bed, defeated.

We're heading out in a bit so hopefully, we can still find a good deal somewhere.

I give you a lot of credit. I LOVE to shop, but you couldn't pay me to go out on Black Friday. I'd rather pay full price and maintain my sanity. Good luck on finding some deals! There are some great sales out there! :) HUGS!

I was at Kohls at 10 Am! Last year I was there at 5AM! If I was not out of town at FIL house, I would have been there at 5AM. Also, that jogging suit I mentioned was from Juicy Couture:) Hope your shopping trip went well!

Hope you still found good deals today. I was up and out and at the mall by 5:45 and it always amazes me how many other idiots are out and about that early.

Kristen,
Thanks for your post on my blog! Hope you found some great deals today. You are much braver than I am for even having the intentions to get out there early today.

My daugher got me up at 4 a.m. to go. I think this has become a tradition over the last few years. Dads can be assets at times like that :-)
