Hello, Lover

I have a new love in my life. He fulfills me in every way imaginable. When I'm down, he picks me up. He warms my heart on a cold, blustery day. All is right with the world when he's in my grasp.

Pumpkin Spice Latte - I'm head over heels.

The thing about great love affairs are that they don't last forever. So, I'm going to make the most of the short time we have together. I think I'm addicted. Seriously. I've already had him 3 times this week and I'm craving more.

How I love the flurry and excitement of a new relationship.

As Shelby mentioned in a recent post, I am not quite ready for Santa at the mall (did we forget about Thanksgiving this year? It seems to have gone right from Halloween to Christmas decor) or for Christmas shopping. But this touch of seasonal magic is perfect timing.

Does anyone else have a holiday addiction they would like to share?

Uhh, yes. I have an addiction. It's to the "Home for the Holidays" Yankee Candle. I've had it in my candle warmer since the beginning of October. I have to put it away in January. Something just seems wrong about letting it infiltrate my house with yummy Christmas-ness in April. :o)

You should try a non-fat chai latte with 1 pump of pumpkin. Its nirvana I tell you....

And I'm addicted to crappy family Christmas letters...The. Best.

I am, in general a caffeine junkie. I loooove coffee. However, in an effort to bring my body into a better balance, I have elected to stop drinking it and have started substituting Yerba Mate instead. It doesn't make me feel flush with energy the way coffee does but it is a pick me up and I know it's better for me...

Dang it I am not thorougly fantasizing about a Pumpkin Spice Latte becaue they are indeed quite tasty. Mmmmm. This weekend I think I'm going to have to get me one. You're such a bad influence on me! ;-)

I'm with you on the Pumpkin Spice Latte. But, the minute the Gingerbread Latte comes out, I drop the Pumpkin Spice one like a hot stone.

And my pine-scented plug-in thingy from the White Barn Candle Company. Kevin forbids me to plug it in until we have an actual tree in the house -- Scrooge! But the second we get that tree in the door, I cram that sucker into the wall and then place myself as close to it as possible. I love the smell of a (fake) pine tree!

I love love love pumpkin spice latte. I so look forward to halloween because that's about the time Starbucks starts selling it.

I also recommend the gingerbread latte. It's surprisingly yummy and runs a close 2nd to the pumpkin spice.

oooooooooooo the Pumpkin Spice Latte - You found my love as well. I am an addict of these. I just love love love them. I found them a few yrs ago.. and ever since then - begged for that coffee shooppe to make them earlier every year (because they tell me when it gets coldm we'll make them) someone remind me when it gets cold in FL?

As for going from Halloween to Christmas, always gets my goat...I truly adore thanksgiving the most out of all the holidays

We totally share the same addiction. You should try it with soy milk.. it is WAY better than just plain milk. totally adds to the taste. It is amazing!

I love pumpkin spiced latte! Do you know they can make it with sugar free syrup? It drops the calories immensely and still tastes decent, to me anyways.
My holiday addiction is two fold: 1) The Harry Connick, Jr and Michael Buble Christmas music CDs. I am such a loser.
2) Food. Any and all of it. I am a turkey, mashed potato and cranberry sauce (from the can). I like to pile all of it on the fork and cram it in my mouth. The blend of tastes is monumental.

DAMN, isn't that Pumpkin stuff amazing? Sadly, my S'bks had already run out and replaced it with "gingerbread" which tastes a bit like that yellow triaminic cough syrup of yore (in other words, like ass). Know what I like? Peppermint ice cream. And I'm not talking the green stuff with chips in, but quality vanilla with crushed candy canes in the ice cream. That and I cookie, and I can forget all the rest.

I am such a chai freak.

I order this:
venti
7 pump
no water
no foam
soy
chai

Heaven on earth. I order it piping hot in the summer.

I agree, nothing brings in the holiday season better than a cup of Starbucks. My weakness is the Cinnamon Dolce Latte - if you haven't tried it yet, please do. It's like an orgasm to the mouth. I promise.

I love all the holiday treats at the 'bucks. So delish. I've been saying "to hell with it all" lately and going for the Peppermint Mocha.
