Tell Me You Love Me

DH and I are going away for the weekend. We are waking up at the butt crack of dawn to drive to Ocean City for some fun in the sun. We're going to lay out on the beach, walk the boardwalk, eat funnel cake and lots of nasty, fatty crap, get our pictures done in the photo booth, play putt-putt golf. Have as much fun as we can possibly squeeze in. I plan to do everything I can to get my massive temp drop from this morning out of my mind. No thinking about when I'm going to ovulate or if I'll even ovulate at all this cycle. I need a break from reality, if only for two days.

Does anyone have HBO? If so, have you seen the previews for this new show? One of the couples is infertile and I'm dying to see how it is portrayed. I'll definitely be tuning in this Sunday.

I heart my HBO. It's my appointment TV. I have loved almost every single series they have made: Sex and the City, The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Six Feet Under, Carnivale, Big Love, Extras, Rome...the list just goes on and on.

Hopefully, I can add this to my repertoire since most of my beloved shows have gone to the cable graveyard.

ETA: My IBS has thankfully given me a reprieve. Just in the nick of time.

I'm going to watch the new HBO show, too! It's sad, but HBO is practically my life...if we didn't have DVR I'd be in big trouble!

Enjoy your trip!

Enjoy your weekend break! I don't get cable, so I can't say I've seen the show, but from the information page it sounds interesting.

Me too!! I LOVE HBO!! I'm going to try to tune in Sunday to see that new show, but we may be watching Sunday night football. I'm sure I'll catch later on during the week. I love Big Love, can't wait for next season!

Yay for getting away! Have all the fun and greasy food you want : )

I use to have HBO and I miss it. Instead, we have Showtime right now ... which bites.

You'll have to keep us non-HBO'rs posted on how the series goes.

I just watched that show the other night! I wish they would tell how old the IF couple is. Seems they've been trying a year with no help. I hope they don't fall into the "relax and forget about it" and she falls pg right away bit. That would really annoy me.

Anyway I hope you're having a great weekend!

Hope you had a great weekend! And definitely let us know about the HBO show! I'll be very interested to hear whether they make the IF couple a caricature...hopefully it'll be true to life, though.

Hi there - you don't know me, but I thought I would come by and say 'hello'. I saw a comment that you made on another blog. I am pretty new to the blogosphere, still poking my way around. I have been having a pretty crappy time lately too - glad you were able to get away.

I watched. Probably going to write a little blurb about it tomorrow.
I was underwhelmed with it's representation of IF. We'll see if it improves.

I came across your blog in a search & I thought I would say hi=) I was really excited for "tell me you love me" & I have to say I LOVE it! I just really hope it keeps up my attention. I have to say I was sort of "morning" the loss of my Big Love hahahaha

Hey kristen!

It's BARL5 (or just Barb. ;-) ) Anyway, Hope your weekend was great. We did the "getting away" thing too. You just need to sometimes. Getting away from FF is kinda nice too.

I wish we could have HBO! They also have a new show coming up about vampires which is based on a fun, campy book series that I LOVE about a heroine called "Sookie Stackhouse." If you ever check that out, let me know how it is!
Oh, and the blog that's on my comment is my wildlife blog. I'm still working on the infertility one. :)

Oh! I hope you had fun in Ocean City. We were up the road in Rehoboth this past weekend :-)

I want to see Big Love so badly. We're now buying television shows when they release the season and watching them slowly throughout the year. We're working our way through Weeds.

I have heard of that show, but not sure if I want to watch. It's TV afterall, which means it probably won't be respectful.

I love my HBO too... I could get rid of just about every other station as long as I have that.
